We're at this stage in life where we reminisce too much of our near past, worry too much about our near future, are
too clueless about everything that can, will, may happen to us, think we know alot, think we don't know anything,
am confident about the wrong things, take pride in wasting time away, want too much but want to do too little.

Smoking kills
Last night, I had dinner with a couple of friends who have been friends for pretty long. I don't know, it feels like I've known Sokmui and Priscilla for the longest of time, even though it's been 6years. Maybe because they're the few rare ones that don't drift like AE86 of Initial D.
Anyway, some pictures.
Say Hi to Naomi, who's undergoing Project Femininity launched by her parents. YES, her parents want to feminize her. What can I say? Jiayou bo fu bo mu. :D This artistic 90degrees shot is taken by me in an attempt to capture something that's difficult to get out of Naomi.
Taken in paranoma. Will you believe me if I tell you each expression is actually supposed to mean a different thing, like sad happy sick angry etc. And no, there's no repeated expression, although the photos say otherwise.
In an attempt to capture a mirrored shot on the black glass panes, we tried all sorts of camera modes. But we never got anything real out of those.
This is our worst shot. Lol.
Naomi was doing some exaggerated pose so I could at least capture her shadow. Actually I think we can be seen if we take a photo further away from the panes. You can see Sokmui in white in this photo. It's because we crowd too near the pane and block out the light, that's why.
Guess who Naomi is trying to imitate.

Priscilla, Felicia and I. Their names both end with a. That makes me so extra. I shall be Meigua in this photo then.

Can you see there's one of them on each level? I took this photo from the 2nd floor.
We took this photo in the lift. We were on the 6th floor and we didn't have enough time to retake it because someone boarded on the 5th floor. Sokmui is cut in this photo (must be karma, she keeps cutting people...) and Naomi's hands are down! :O
We took this in the toilet, quite obviously. And I think the light from the lights (sounds weird!) looks like some sunlight shining in through some windows.

Don't smoke, people! It's bad for your health! If you are so addicted you're an addict (no vocab), THINK ABOUT THE PEOPLE YOU'RE KILLING WITH SECONDHAND SMOKE. You may think secondhand smoke is no big deal, but no! It's a big deal.
Here are some facts about secondhand smoke:
* It kills about 3,000 non-smokers each year from lung cancer.
* It causes up to 300,000 lung infections (like pneumonia and bronchitis) in babies and young children each year.
* It causes babies to be at risk for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
* In a crowded restaurant, smoking can produce six times the pollution of a busy highway.
* Pets suffer too! It can cause leukemia (a type of cancer) in cats and enlarged hearts in dogs.
* It causes 30 times as many lung cancer deaths as all the different kinds of pollution combined.
* It causes wheezing, coughing, colds, earaches and asthma attacks.
* It fills the air with many of the same poisons found in the air around toxic waste dumps.
* It ruins the smell and taste of food.
* It causes reddening, itching, and watering of the eyes.

Alright, this is so entirely random. Must be all the people I see smoking on my way home from work. If you're doing it to feed your addiction (even though you know how much it's harming you), I can't say much. But if you're doing just so you can look cool, please, that's so stupid. I never thought there really will be such cases until you-have-no-idea-how-many-bengs-work-at-starhub. Tsk tsk.
