We're at this stage in life where we reminisce too much of our near past, worry too much about our near future, are
too clueless about everything that can, will, may happen to us, think we know alot, think we don't know anything,
am confident about the wrong things, take pride in wasting time away, want too much but want to do too little.
Ohwell.

Spicy Ketchup
I'm down with a fever that refuses to subside. Seen the doc last night and it's so expensive can. $43 for some fever medicine, some flu medicine and antibiotics. Consultation alone cost $22. I hate inflation. D:
So today I woke up at 9.30am, after thirteen hours of sleep the previous night. Ate two soonkueys with ketchup and it tasted spicy. Checked the ketchup bottle and it says... KETCHUP. I'm still wondering about why that ketchup tasted spicy. It's the very normal Maggi ketchup, the glass bottle with yellow round tape. But it tasted spicy! Hence we should all pause for a moment in our busy lives and contemplate about this great mystery -- WHY DOES THE KETCHUP TASTE SPICY.
LOL.
Okay. And then after breakfast I took the medication. 3 out of 4 of them May cause drowsiness. That's bullshit. There's no such thing as May cause drowsiness. It's WILL cause drowsiness. So then I felt drowsy and was about to go sleep when my mother came back with my lunch.
Uh huh. So then I had lunch, at 11am. After which I took more drugs and felt even drowsier so I went back to sleep.
I dreamed about me painting a white house a pretty shade of green. It's a never-ending dream (somewhat similar to The Never-ending kuay chap story). I just kept painting white walls green, white walls green, white walls green. And it never runs out of white walls for me to paint green, because duh, I already told you it's a never-ending dream.
I woke up feeling drowsy still so I went back to sleep.
Uhhh. Then I woke up at 5pm, where I took dinner, took more medication. And to prevent me from sleeping my life away, I came online to blog about painting white walls green. Oh, and the conundrum of The Spicy Ketchup.
...
Sometimes I really wonder why you will want to read my blog.

Teachers' Day celebrations yesterday was great! NJ's concert was fantastic, I enjoyed it truly because I didn't turn up. HAHAHAHAHA. Okay. I went back to Anderson and man! When did Andersonians become so enthu?!
Emcee: Come on Andersonians! Won't you cheer the teachers on?
Me: HA.
Andersonians: WOOOOOO -cheers like Jay Chou just sent a flying kiss to the crowd-
... What the barney! How come I graduate two years already then Anderson became even more fun than before!
Anderson's teachers' day celebrations was Awesome. Everybody was so enthusiastic, the teachers who went on stage to play the games even. It made me so proud to be an Andersonian. The enthusiasm lasted all the way to the end... until we had to do the Anderson cheer. Ha. At least some things stay the same, only the councilors did the cheer. :)
But still. The whole celebrations thing was really great. And I think the teachers deserved it because they're really the best teachers anyone can ask for. Anderson teachers are really good lah. I don't know how else I can tell you how great they are. I could still remember times back in Anderson where Sokmui will insist her Maths teacher is the best and I'll get irritated because I think my Maths teacher is better. Lawl.
Now I realise they are all so Awesome. All those videos that classes made for their form teachers, their subject teachers blah blah, everyone just love their teachers. It's something that schools like NJ probably lacks. HA.
The celebrations ended at 12plus. gillian, chunying and I went looking for teachers and I saw MDM WONG! :D The first thing I did was to tell her the double decker bus joke that Jiaru told me over MSN that day. LOL. She's still the same. Lol. And then we tried bluffing Son something about Vietnam and China. When Son went Orhhhhh and tried elaborating, Mdm Wong and I looked at each other in disbelief. LOL. What the hell, Son, nothing we said existed. HAHAHAHA.
Oh. Then chunying pointed out MRS THERESA LIM to me and I practically went crazy. Yep, she's that Geography teacher that I'm always talking about. She's like my idol can. So I ran after her and asked if she still remembers who I am. And yes! She still remembers me as "4/1'06 class chairman"!! :D I was so happy to see her I cried. LOL. Yah. I was THAT happy. It was close to seeing Jay. My-idol-remembers-me!-kind of feeling. :D
LOL. And Mdm Wong and her why-you-cry-when-you-see-her, but-never-cry-when-you-see-me thing. LOL.
Actually, come to think of it, I only saw those teachers yesterday. We couldn't find Mr Ng, didn't really talk to Mr Yu, didn't see Mrs Yeo who's on maternity leave (yes, Mr Yeo is a PE teacher what), and other teachers who taught us weren't around either.
Haha. It was wonderful to be back in Anderson again.
When the celebrations ended, Mr Ang went up on stage, and as usual, he said "Andersonians, if you want the balloons you can take them but don't litter". And then there'll be lower sec crazy Andersonians running around the hall like they've never seen a balloon in their lives. I never really realised that when I was still in the school. But seeing the school from the mezzanine (it's just the balcony, Anderson gave it a fancy name), I realised why I really like the school so much.
Probably no other school principal will give up reading the MOE speech on how we should appreciate our teachers because "you've already shown how much you appreciate them". :D
:)
After visiting Anderson, chunying, gillian and I went to the coffee shop opposite and guess what! The yellow chairs are still yellow! Lol. Sometimes I really wonder did they use yellow chairs instead of the usual red chairs because yellow is Anderson school colour. ._.
Anyway, we had chicken rice and LOLLL the chicken rice stall uncle remembers my name! Ha okay that's not surprising. The surprising thing is he recognised me, even with contacts and bangs. Woah.
Then I brought them to Cine and photohunted (yes, again LOL). They can't photohunt for nuts. Lol, but they got pro-er soon! :) We played for a mega long time and yes, I made them play pick-up sticks with me too. HAHA. gillian was going crazy and sticking pick-up sticks in her hair. It's so classic, but she refused to let me take pictures. HAHA.
I probably laughed too much, that's why I'm running a fever now. ._.
Pictures... another time! :) Meanwhile, go think about why ketchup is spicy!
