too clueless about everything that can, will, may happen to us, think we know alot, think we don't know anything,
am confident about the wrong things, take pride in wasting time away, want too much but want to do too little.

Step up!
Orientation08 is over.
8 days seem like a really long time at the start, but when it really started, it was Thursday before I know it. And then it's Friday and then it ended.
OGL camp, mass dances, all the preparation here and there, walk-in and everything. For that 8 days and everything is worth it. :)
I love my OG 18 because I swear they are the highest people on Earth. They do the ohmama cheer (yes the one I learnt from Innova, nobody ever does it in NJ ha) with such enthusiasm. And that they will never pangseh when we shout EIGHTEEN OEI. And also because they are so uber cute. Especially when they do the Ecstasy cheer. :D
Monday started out easily with icebreakers and stuff. The Cat high jokers in class made things easier. :) OH. How can I forget walk in. :O Somehow when all the practices amount to only 7 minutes plus of the walk in, everyone felt like doing the walk in again. Haha. But it was good because Solaris rock and I know there's no link to what I just said but nevermind. Lol.
And then. Tuesday! Station games. :D :D :D :D :D :D And then the OG went KAP after station games and NIC GOH IS FREAKING FUNNY. LOL. I lost my voice when I came home but then when I woke up it's back and stronger again. HAHA.
Wednesday was depressing because we went for quest, and I got sian when we reached Clark Quay and our first station was Fort Canning. So I sianed out and then people started getting sianed out. And then we completed one and a half out of the six stations because it started raining heavily and we decided to abandon the quest because we're all tired and don't feel like moving. Okay what lousy OGL I am. :(
So when we came back to school I was depressed because the quest sucked and so I told the OG to stay behind and play some games so that the day won't be such a flop but those who are sian and want to go home can go.
And I thought only 5 enthu people will stay behind. When Aiwei and I walked up the steps to the canteen and saw ONLY 5 PEOPLE sitting at the round table I was super depressed because everyone else abandoned me. :( Okay lah, turns out there were others sitting beside the piano and I didn't see them. :) And some of them went for trials so it's not that they abandon me. :)
But then we only played for 5 or 10 minutes of Captain's ball and I realise the girls are sian because it's the guys plus a few enthu girls plus me playing actually. So we stopped playing and we sat in a circle and I started emo-talking. (Not my fault can. Some random person kept playing ultra sad music on the piano and we were at the linkway...) And then Aiwei asked why am I saying all these now when it's Day3 not Day5. So I said I don't know, today is a sad day and somebody should stop that stupid person from playing stupid sad music on the piano. Lol.
But they are so supportive I cheered up easily though. :)
Day 4 started out fresh because there's no more quest! :D Ha. I lost my voice for 10 minutes and it came back miraculously when it was gang bonding session and we had to cheer. Ha. Voice lost again after the cheering session but it's back and even stronger after drinking lots of water! :D
We went Island Creamery after that and I can't remember much about it already. Haha. :)
Friday was a blast. There was war games and I thought I can yaya because I'm in the war games committee and Weiwen said we aren't playing, even in the second half where the six houses on the field and OGLs take the center and there's no objective except that the OGLs will get bombed by all the freshmen. But then somehow, all OGLs got picked out and sent to the center circle. I should have just worn black and act as a J1. Tsk.
It was horrifying can. Like the world's coming down on you. :O I got randomly bombed on the head and I felt like somebody hammered me. And then when I recover, another one came right smack at the same spot on the same head. AND THEN 10 SECONDS AFTER I RECOVER, ANOTHER ONE CAME AT THE SAME SPOT AGAIN. Walao. I could have died of concussion then.
J1s are so frightening. How can they do this to their OGLs who've been so nice to them? >:(
Then it was clean-up blah blah mass dance blah blah. Then it was gang bonding session again! :) And OMG I still can't get the image of Kevin in pinafore out of my head. The image is so disturbing. Sorry Jenna. Your pinafore got worn by this guy who.. I don't want to continue. I'll look for the pictures they took and show you another time.
And then! We had 15minutes of sentimental moment where we showed EIGHTEEN the video and gave them their postcards. :) And then pizza dinner! :D
Then EIGHTEEN decided to play Captain's ball so we started playing Captain's ball among ourselves and then IP03 wanted to challenge us. So we started playing against each other and the rest cheered like mad. And then it got so high on the linkway NINETEEN decided to challenge EIGHTEEN who won IP03! But then EIGHTEEN was tired because we've been playing for a long time already so NINETEEN played against IP03. Then Lignum appeared out of nowhere and challenged Solaris (18, 19 and IP03 are all Solaris houses) so we played even more. And then Lignum guys decided to challenge Solaris girls so it got even higher and the cheering was so loud and everything and nobody cared about campfire. :/
It was raining anyway. Which was what we prayed for. Haha. So that the dance party can be in the hall!
And the dance party was Awesome. :D :D :D No actually EIGHTEEN was Awesome. :D
When it was all over, OGLs had to stay back to clean up the school while J1s go home. What a sad job ha. Everything was over by 10.50pm and oh my, I can't believe orientation is over.
Thank you OG18 for making everything so worthwhile. For cheering so loud, for being so fun. :) THANK YOU JINYIN, AIWEI AND YIXUAN for the many interesting conversations ha. For the compare people game (?). Lol. It's weird how the 4 of us come from different places in class and Aiwei said after the orientation the four of us won't be grouped together anymore which is true to a certain extent but we still enjoyed ourselves nevertheless. Eeeee! :) And thanks to the Solaris OGLs for being SO FUNNY (thinks of Nic Goh LOLLLLLLLL), and everything else. Solaris rocks! :D
